On June 11, 2013, as a cultural representative of Hong Kong, Musicus Society participated at the anchor event of “Think Asia: Think Hong Kong” in New York City, led by Hong Kong’s Chief Executive C.Y. Leung, with Guest of Honor First Chief Economist Ms Heidi Crebo-Rediker.
Artistic Director Trey Lee, who was invited as the featured artist for the gala evening, performed the “Dream of Red Chamber Fantasy” cello and piano version which was commissioned by the Society and re-arranged by Hong Kong composer Alfred Wong, based on the original score of Liping Wang.
