New Works

Musicus Society regularly commissions composers to write new works inspired by themes such as Chinese history, Hong Kong heritage and cross-cultural exchanges. To date, it has commissioned more than twenty works, featuring diverse instrumentations and styles bringing about exchanges between performers and composers. A number of these works have been given international premieres abroad, introducing Hong Kong musicians and culture to foreign audiences.
